I think people from school are following me, but I don’t even care anymore if they find out that this is my tumblr. This is my dad. He’s my bestfriend; my role model, the funniest, nicest, sweetest, and strongest person I have ever known. This morning I watched him and held his hand as he took his last breaths. He passed away after a 2 and a half year battle with cancer. It breaks my heart that I will never see him again or laugh with him, but at the same time I am relieved that he will never have to go through another chemotherapy treatment again or another surgery. That took so much out of him and I hated to see him in pain all the time. I’m happy that he is finally cured of that terrible disease. I have so many memories with him that I will never forget. The rest of my life is going to be so hard without him, but I promise you Dad, I will make you proud of me. I know that you’re going to be watching over me and protecting me forever. I just wish I would have had more time with him, 15 years is not enough. I can’t wait to see you again someday Dad, in heaven. I love you so much, more than anyone will ever understand.
